The Donation Trends Dashboard Space is a dedicated area on the GivingTuesday Data Commons Platform that allows researchers and data providers to explore reporting tools created by the GivingTuesday data team. These tools support business analysis and the generation of insights based on transaction data. New dashboards will be released every quarter.
Transactional data owners interested in potentially contributing to the sector benchmark FEP Fundraising Report are especially encouraged to reflect on how these same metrics, splits, time series and trends could be valuable in analysis of their own data.
Current Dashboard(s):
The 2021 FEP dashboard displays the latest graphs, charts and tables generated for the FEP Quarterly Report. This unique sector publication offers a deep dive into year-to-date fundraising metrics generated from Growth in Giving database, which aggregates individual level transaction data on $1.9 billion worth of donations to nearly 10,000 organizations.
Based on a constantly evolving methodology to ensure reliability and accuracy, the insights revealed in the report empower the sector to track and evaluate trends in giving.
